Tonehenge is a prototype of an acoustically interactive sculptural group designed for public space. It can serve as an ordinary bench with its own elegant shade, but after a while it throws its visitors into altogether different events. The parabolic shape of the shade was designed to amplify the sounds of the surroundings and offer them to the listener right at the focal point.
The installation is by the architect Šimon Prokop of the Faculty of Architecture, CTU in Prague.
