Virus

A virus in the shape of a steel and glass sphere, enlarged to human scale and floating on the surface of the Malše, arouses curiosity and unease alike. It makes the observer think about the variety of worlds and organisms that live alongside us even though we do not see them. Their physical presence, invisible as it is, is felt more keenly than usual today, because viruses from the world of microbes have spoken up more loudly. The virus, coloured and made of glass, is simply a reflection of the present moment and of our expectations about how we will deal with it.
