Homecoming

A tree grows through the remains of industrial buildings, breaking through girders and concrete to find its place on Earth again. The sculpture gives form to the power of nature and to its capacity for renewal, which outlasts everything humankind has made. At the same time it invites an inward question: how much do we take from nature without giving anything back? Homecoming is a metaphor of hope — a reminder that a return to nature is still possible, and not as an act of defeat but as reconciliation and a rediscovery of the values our existence rests on.
