Merging

Floating in the middle of the river's current. It stands for a moment of calm and of merging with the water, or of reconnecting with nature and with our earliest roots. The work reminds us that it is sometimes good to stop, to sink into the present moment and let our worries float away. Water, an element that surrounds us and at the same time transforms us, offers a perspective in which our everyday problems are put in proportion.

A reflection on the duality of our existence — we are everything and nothing at once, significant and negligible, eternal and as fleeting as the ripples on the river's surface below us.
