Dead trees. A microworld of their own, full of thousands of further creatures, small but all the same important to nature.
Small fused glass sculptures of supernatural creatures from another dimension point to a paradox: to us, from a lay point of view, a useless dead tree means nothing. In which case, by clearing it away we cause a micro apocalypse — one that, in another, paradoxically inverted parallel world, may be an apocalypse of the utmost importance. And so the creatures flee into our world looking for asylum.
