Courage

The installation Courage presents an anonymous crowd of black figures all heading the same way. One individual does emerge from the crowd, turns around and swims against the current. To bring the idea out, I let that one rust. The figures stand on a steel structure that may suggest a chessboard, which adds another dimension. It is my way of supporting brave people, the kind who manage to create a universe of their own.
