Ascent

In my own particular way, this sculpture is my tribute to David R. Hawkins, the author of Transcending the Levels of Consciousness. The book describes a person's progress through the individual levels of consciousness. Each level offers a different view of the world around. There is no objective view of life and of life's situations; a person moves gradually from matter and mind towards an inner world that the senses cannot register.
