Timelessness
The work came about as a response to the uncertainty and anxiety of the present. A fragment of the human body symbolises for me fragility, transience and the trace of presence. I do not see a crisis only as an ending, but as an interval and a possibility of change. I open a space in which to stop and consider what is changing and what remains within us.
Playing with Time
In an abstract form, the work deals with time, mutability and transience. Through movement, sound and gradual corrosion it follows the changes of the material and its relationship to the natural cycle. The open circle stands for cyclicity and change, the triangle for stability and anchoring. An old piece of found sheet metal carries the traces of memory and time.
