Ginevra Giovannoni

Ginevra Giovannoni, who works as Rame13 (*13 November 1989, Pisa), is an Italian multidisciplinary artist moving between urban art, illustration, printmaking, photography and tattooing. It was her grandfather, a painter, who brought her to drawing as a child. In 2015 she completed a bachelor’s degree in philosophy at the University of Pisa and a diploma at the Accademia di Arti Visive in Florence. In 2016 she began her career as an urban artist; since 2017 she has been a member of the Florentine collective ELEKTRO DOMESTIK FORCE (EDF CREW), which is devoted to socially engaged art and to the revitalisation of public space. She works chiefly with large-format mural painting (spray, acrylic), and also with paper, canvas and skin (tattooing). Her storytelling is dreamlike and surreal — female figures with large horns, surreal animals, colourful plants and moustachioed sailors; the form is figurative, while the relationships between people, animals and plants are abstract.

She has taken part in many national and international festivals: UPFEST (Bristol), Meeting of Styles (Kosovo, Madrid), Street Art Festival Lleida (Spain), Street Art Concrate (Helsinki), Gravity Festival (Paris), Graffitea Cheste (Valencia), GarGar Festival (Penelles), Urban Giants (Milan), Urbana Bologna, Gulía Urbana (Calabria), Waterford Walls (Ireland), Desidia Festival (Lanzarote), Borgo Universo (Aielli), Art4Sea (Greece) and others.

She has exhibited in galleries in Florence, Rome, Helsinki, Paris and Valencia. She has a long-standing collaboration with the fashion brand PINKO, and has also worked with Vans, Decathlon/Prologis and Clubsilencio Torino. In 2025 she made a mural for the Art in the City festival in České Budějovice and took part in the joint exhibition “I LOST MY TAIL” (with the sculptor Anna Torre) — the painting is on the building of the Faculty of Science of the University of South Bohemia in Branišovská street.
