Circumpunct

Circumpunct is a Czech artistic duo made up of Iva Kolorenčová and Markéta Váradiová, who have worked together since 2019. Their work focuses on site-specific installations, spatial objects and conceptual projects whose main material is glass in a wide range of forms and technological treatments.

Their work explores the relationships between light, space, the optical properties of the material and human perception. Through subtle interventions they make works intended both for gallery settings and for architecture and landscape, where they respond sensitively to a particular place and its atmosphere.

Major projects include the solo exhibition The Nearness of the Horizon at the Kladno Chateau Gallery, the project Less Apparent at the Špillar Brothers Gallery in Domažlice and the multisensory installation Sonata for Three Senses at the Gustav Mahler House in Jihlava.
